San Diego Wedding Makeup Artist

Background

Megan was born in Hawaii and for the majority of her life was raised in San Diego County. Throughout her childhood she was always obsessed with beauty and the idea of getting married.  Therefore, as many young girls do, she spent much of her childhood imagining herself as a bride on her wedding day.  In 2011, Megan had the opportunity to experience that day for herself.  Now as a recently married makeup artist she understands the exceptional feeling that each bride should experience when walking down the aisle and the once-in-a-lifetime moment when the eyes of each individual in attendance are in admiration of the bride's beauty.

Experience​
​Anyone who is close to Megan would agree that she has more than a just strong desire to help others in anyway needed.  After working towards an assistive social work degree from the University of Hawaii, Megan realized that her real passion was still helping others, however specifically making people feel their most beautiful.    With this focus she went on to graduate from MakeUp Designory (MUD) in Burbank, CA.  After taking her talents to Hollywood, participating in Film, TV, and Print Photography she came to terms that she missed the feeling of helping others feel beautiful for their personal gratitude rather than for an audience's admiration.  Shortly after leaving Hollywood, Megan took a position with Laura Mercier and now holds a role as a Regional Makeup Artist in the Southern California area.   In addition to her time working for Laura, her caring and easy-going personality and customer referrals have provided her the opportunity to work with a variety of brides within San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and Riverside.

Personal
Megan and her husband, the love of her life Ross, currently reside in San Diego with their son, daughter and German Shepherd Dog "Brix"   Beyond beauty, Megan's other passions are her faith in the Lord, her friends and family, the beach, all of God's animals, fitness, country music, long road trips, and anything to do with LOVE.
